We have two steps up to the working studio. We do not at this stage have an access ramp or toilet suitable for use with wheelchair.
For your first session allow one hour, plus 10 minutes to walk afterwards. The fee will be $100. You may be recommended to come weekly for a time. When you book a series or a term of lessons and pay at the first session the cost works out cheaper. Your recommendation might be a weekly package ($800 for 10 x 55 minute lessons) or when appropriate to your goals, $600 for 10 weekly shorter lessons of approximately 40 minutes.

The Feldenkrais Method® Awareness Through Movement® (ATM) classes are a series of gentle, verbally guided movement sequences that are intended to improve posture, flexibility, coordination and even attention.
The technique was developed by Moshe Feldenkrais (1904-1984). Feldenkrais, a physicist and engineer, developed these healing movements while studying and teaching Judo, and while in recovery from his own injuries. In his later years, he devoted his life to helping others discover their innate potential for self-healing.
These movements he developed, promote healing in people with chronic pain by replacing stressful physical patterns, with healthier movement habits. Healthy athletes, musicians, singers and dancers find that this method refines their performance skills and improves their poise and confidence. The Feldenkrais Method has also been proven to help people with neurological problems improve their learning abilities.
Using movement, we work with your brain to refine your movement and open up possibilities for ease, balance and effectiveness where you want it most.
This can be done in customised private sessions or in group class sessions (Awareness Through Movement). Valerie is a graduate of a 4 year Professional Feldenkrais Training Program, and a Registered Practitioner with the New Zealand Feldenkrais Guild
