Feldenkrais Method® Awareness Through Movement® –

Movement is life . . . . the quality of our movement affects everything we do and how we are as we do it.
Whether we get out of bed, respond to our phones, sit down to write, interact with our loved ones, movement can be a key path to creating the sort of self-connection and self-care that brings new choice and clarity alive.
I’m Valerie, and I’ll be sharing these lessons as a path to more physical comfort, and as a way to move from stress or anxiety towards simply being here/now with life as it is.
I’m dedicating this series to furthering compassion, care and clarity in the world through using Feldenkrais Method® Awareness Through Movement® Lessons.
In one hour weekly group sessions*, we’ll use movement sequences to discover ways to bring the qualities we want into daily life, including comfort, ease, presence and compassion. I’ll share with you 8 of my favourite Feldenkrais® Awareness Through Movement® lessons over the 8 sessions. Movements will include lying, crawling, rolling, and other developmental stages, as we repattern our movement for better function and better rest.

Valerie Wycoff has a professional background in Communication Training (Nonviolent Communication) and performance education (singing and movement for actors). She is a Certified Awareness Through Movement© (ATM) teacher and Feldenkrais Method© practitioner (2010) and is passionate about supporting individuals to discover their own wisdom around personal wellness. She offers one on one coaching those who wish to cultivate wellness, resilience, sustainability, and other qualities that make life more wonder-full..
