Marta Kulaga, Certified CNVC trainer from Poland joins us for two evenings focusing on mediation in December. We met Marta at the Bali International Intensive Training and are inspired by her skill, warmth, sensitivity, and her humour and clarity in teaching.
You may attend either evening as a stand alone event or attend BOTH!

SUPPORTING CONFLICT RESOLUTION with Nonviolent Communication Tues 17 December 7-9 pm
and . . .
MEDIATING CONFLICT with Nonviolent Communication Wed 18 December 7-9 pm
at 23 Joyce Crescent, CHCH
Please email jim@bodyvoicealive.nz to let us know you’ll come. To help us set the room and for Marta’s planning, it would be great if you could do this by 10th December or sooner if you know already :).
These evenings are offered on a gift economy basis – you’re invited to bring a Koha/Donation to offer for Marta’s facilitation.
Here Marta explains more about these evenings:
Mediating conflict is a way to bring more peace into life.
Peace starts within me, peace starts within you. Peace comes from understanding, empathy, acceptance and empowerment to act in life according to your values.
Being in peace, embracing peace and having a way to come back to peace when you have lost it – is a way to bring it into life and to support people in making peace with themselves and others
In NVC there is a specific structure which support conflict resolutions. And it is possible to learn it – to practice the science and art of mediation
I invite you to meet me during two evenings in Christchurch to explore how we can bring more peace into our lives.
We will learn and experience NVC mediation
17th December 2019, Tuesday 7-9 pm
- I will show you the structure of NVC mediation and the role of a mediator. We will explore how the meaning is being transferred from one person to another and how mutual understanding brings more peace and openness to the relationship. You will have a chance to experience being in the role of mediator and how your empathy skills support the process.
18th December 2019, Wednesday 7-9 pm
- Being the mediator in the presence of two conflicting parties is a big challenge. Intense emotions, pain, confusion. You will have a chance to observe 9 skills of a mediator and to practice some of them. You will have a chance to experience being in the role of mediator and how your empathy skills support the process
You can take part in two evenings or in one of them.
Just come and help to make this world just a little bit more peaceful place, by making more peace in your own life.
